CAO Closing Date – Monday 1st February 2027, final day to apply for all restricted art and design programmes. Product Design, Interaction Design and Visual Culture are unrestricted.

International Applicant Closing Date – Monday 1st of February 2027.

Portfolio Submission Deadline for ALL 1st Year Applicants – Friday 12th of February 2027.

March 2027
Advanced Entry deadline for any applications to Year 2 – 31st of March 2027.

April 2027
Portfolio results for entry to first year art and design programmes September 2027.

May 2027
Advanced Entry applicants will be contacted to upload their Portfolio.

June 2027
International Students who meet Minimum Entry Requirements will start receiving offers from June onwards.

July 2027
CAO Change of Mind Deadline – 1st July 2027.

August 2027
All offers to NCAD will be made in August for those that have applied to 1st Year Art and Design courses.

NCAD runs a number of events throughout the year that are open to the public, all of which are opportunities to visit the College, meet staff and students, and find out more about the area of study you are interested in.
